Windham Professionals, Inc. is looking for a ENERGETIC,  PROFESSIONAL, FULL TIME RECRUITER to support the recruiting of quality talent for our Department of Education projects at our Elma, NY and Hendersonville, TN locations.  The position will be staffed in our Elma, NY site.

  • Lead full cycle recruitment for the Department of Education project.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by meeting with managers/leader to discuss needs and review forecast plans.
  • Determine applicant requirements by reviewing job descriptions and completing intake with hiring managers.
  • Build applicant sources and attract talent pipeline by placing advertisements, contacting community organizations, colleges, employment agencies, media, and internet sites; networks and builds relationships internally and externally.
  • Ensure legal compliance and adherence to applicable corporate internal procedures and policies and those related to local, state and federal requirements.
  • Follow recruitment processes and procedures and holds hiring managers accountable to providing timely follow up and making quality selections.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics and reports to maximize efficiency (fill rate, time to fill, cost per hire, etc.).
  • Ensure proper processing of background investigations according to company requirements and procedures.
  • Research, review, and implement alternative recruiting methods to keep talent pipelines flowing.
  • Support the company’s efforts to reduce attrition.
  • Travel to other sites to assist in meeting hiring needs.
  • Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned as needed.


Here’s what we are looking for in you:

  • Degree with 5-7 years’ successful recruiting experience required. 
  • Experience in fast paced, high volume, call center environments with ED experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and comprehensive understanding of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • An energetic, motivated, focused, self-starter with the ability and willingness to be flexible, and meet deadlines without prompting.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and on a team.
  • A strong work ethic motivated by results.
  • Computer savvy with knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (iCims, Taleo, etc.), social media outlets, and up to date recruitment methodologies.
  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and trust on all levels.
  • High level of attention to detail is critical with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong ability to organize effectively, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly.
  • Adaptable to changing business dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
