Windham Training and Development:

The Windham Professionals Training Team is responsible for delivering to the learning needs of all staff - - with a core focus on our new-hires through their first 90-days of employment.
The Training Team creates and delivers standardized recurring programs, customized learning solutions, role-based and function-based programs, and prepares and delivers scheduled and on-demand learning solutions company-wide and for our clients.

 
This position requires solid facilitation skills that meet the needs of adult learners in our professional environment.

 

Responsibilities

As a site Trainer, you become our subject matter expert, the go-to leader and resource who possesses the ability to impact every individual within the site. From classroom facilitation to hands-on supervision, our Trainers have diverse, ever-changing, and exciting roles. Our Trainers promote a positive attitude, an open mind, and encourage a learning culture at all times.  In Las Vegas, you will have the opportunity to engage in a multi-faceted training experience, training new hires for several different clients on multiple systems, writing training material in partnership with our clients and ensuring ongoing training outside of the classroom to production. 

What You’ll Do:

  •  Facilitate new hire learning for call center customer care, 1st and 3rd party collections – inbound and outbound services, and other business lines as the company grows.
  •  Train on Windham policies and procedures and all required federal and state regulations.
  •  Design and develop training related curricula and tools as directed while meeting established standards.
  • Supervise new-hires during the training period and make recommendations to management and/or Human Resources regarding training needs and opportunities
  • Accurately report performance, attendance, and complete training transcripts as directed.
  • Examine new hire work and results to ensure company and client procedures are followed.
  • Develop and promote positive working relationships with new hires, peers, leaders and clients.
  • Assist with remedial training programs and customized learning as requested.
  • Organize and maintain training venues, logistics, and equipment. Track progress utilizing training technology (i.e. – LMS and client reporting as required).
  • Deploy and maintain training-related tools.

 

Qualifications

What You Need to Have:

  • High School Diploma required. Some college preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of training facilitation experience in a collections or customer care call center environment preferred and instructional design and/or supervisory experience a plus
  • 1st party, 3rd party, contact/call center, customer care and/or BPO experience
  • Passion for learning and personal growth
  • Excellent vocabulary, verbal and written communications skills
  • Intermediate keyboarding/computer skills inclusive of collections software, and Microsoft Office Suite of programs, previous LMS user experience a plus
